What Makes Us Laugh?
Viktor Frankl after surviving the Holocaust in a concentration camp recalled:
While we certainly do not face anything close to what Frankl did, his prescription for us is still the same: laugh.
This is by no means an easy thing to do under "normal" circumstances, and ever more challenging within a pandemic. But this makes it even more essential, don't you think?
This Tuesday Truth is the opportunity for us to help one another laugh. Below you can submit the joke you are laughing at or an image that you find hilarious. Submissions will be added, so that we can share in one another's mirth.
"Your body cannot heal without play.
Your mind cannot heal without laughter.
Your soul cannot heal without joy."

BUU COMEDY GOLD: |
As humor is broad and can be entirely subjective, you might be wondering, "Is what I find funny something I should submit to BUU's website?" If this crosses your mind, consider our congregation's covenant and our UU seven principles. If it upholds these things, then you are on your way to sharing BUU comedy gold!

We can't help but smile or laugh when we see a quail. The way they walk or should I say waddle. They run so fast across the road with gusto. They are so cute. Roadrunners can be quite funny as well when they come creeping through the yard. They sort of look around as if they are breaking in.
Birds are funny. shared by Sonya and Alex
