Thriving:
Resist & Strengthen

On September 17, Rylee and Baja 4 ministers participated in the week long interfaith action at the wall. Organized by Arivaca activists and blessed by indigenous peoples, this action sought to resist the wall and strengthen the spirit.

Unitarian Universalist leaders who have been to the borderlands and have a connection with the people who live here added their voices to the action. Many generously responded by recording themselves and sending a transcript of their words. These reflections, words and prayers were spread throughout the action.

Our own Jerry Leggett and Ernie Lopez were in person, adding their unique voices to the various Unitarian Universalists from across the continent.
While we didn't get a good shot of Ernie's art during the action, Jerry and Ernie had a few moments at the wall that they captured. Hope you enjoy this video too!
