Borderlands UU Broadcasts

Picture
The Borderlands UU Broadcast or BUUB [buhb] for short will be reaching out with email messages and online videos specialized for our congregation to help our shared spirit thrive during the COVID-19 epidemic.

Here's what you can expect each day:

Monday Meditation: An inspiring reading and contemplation

Tasty Tuesday Tidbits: Recipes and stories from our congregation

Wednesday Weekly: Tells what's happening within BUU

Thursday Thriving: Member and Friends' stories of resilience

Friday Fellowship: News from our partner organizations

Saturday Sabbath: A day of rest and reflection

Sunday Service: An online worship experience [CLICK HERE]

BUUB Connections

In addition to broadcasting out from BUU, we are working together to make BUUB Connections. These are person to person connections so that we can still be connected to one another and the mission of our church, "We Care."

Toward this end we want to invite you to learn to use the video conferencing application Zoom. BUU has used Zoom for several years now to keep our Board of Directors and Program Council meeting despite distances. While we know that it is a good tool, it is a tool that we will need use - and make mistakes - to grow in our proficiency.

Thankfully,  we have a team who have researched Zoom, have written up instructions for setting it up, and are willing to help you, should you run into problems.
